Yash is a Kannada film and television actor.[1] His debut film was Jambadha Hudugi; he is best known for his role in the film Moggina Manasu.

He hails from Mysore, India, He is a Graduate From Mahajana College Of Mysore University.. He is the son of a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) employee and has a younger sister. During his college days, he came in contact with the Benaka drama team and acted in stage plays like Jokumaraswamy, Kattale Belaku, Tabarana Kathe and many others. He appeared in several tele-serials before becoming a full-fledged hero in Kannada movies. He is known in the Kannada film industry for his handsome looks and his dancing skills.
His performance in the movie Moggina Manasu led to many other offers. His movie, Rajadhani, did avarage in Box Office 2011. He is acting with Prakash Rai in the movie. His movie Kallara Santhe was released in 2009 to positive reviews, but it did not do well in the box office.His Upcomin Movies are Lucky with Ramya which is Produced By Radhika K Swamy and Drama which is directed By Yograj Bhat. In 2011 his movie Modalaasa Completed 50 Days, and Kiraataka Completed 100 Days.[2]

He received the award for Best Supporting Actor (Kannada) for his role in the movie Moggina Manasu at the 56th Filmfare Awards South, which were held in Hyderabad in July 2009.[3]
